About Bravo Español
Bravo Español is dedicated to providing engaging and personalized Spanish instruction for both high school students and adult learners.
It is a tailored approach that helps high school students succeed in their current coursework while preparing them for real-world application.
For adults, our community education classes and 1:1 coaching are designed for travelers, professionals, and lifelong learners who want to enhance their cultural experiences, strengthen cognitive skills, and find joy in language learning at every stage of life.
Every lesson blends conversation, culture, mindset, and grammar in context, helping learners not just understand Spanish, but live it.
Experience & Credentials
I am a certified Spanish teacher in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Oregon, and Iowa, teaching since 2007. I maintain an active teaching schedule across college, high school, and middle school settings, and regularly deliver language intensives, teacher trainings, and workshops.
I hold a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Experiential Education and Spanish, which deeply inform my teaching philosophy to making learning dynamic, student-centered, and rooted in real-world application.
Beyond the Classroom
I live in Prescott, Arizona and spend summers in Ashland, Oregon with my family. Outside of teaching, I love practicing yoga, writing, reading, cooking, hiking, mountain biking, and strength training.
I’m happiest exploring the outdoors - chasing sunsets, thunderstorms, and inspiration in the mountains, oceans, lakes, and rivers around the world.
